RANGE
- Maximum
The maximum range directly depends on the pulse length, on the power of the laser and on the weather conditions. Maximum height is reached at 1500 meters for a 50 meter long pulse, under certain conditions (haze and clear conditions).
- Minimum
The minimum range depends on the pulse length. For a distance below 100 meters, the light pulse has not totally quitted the emitter; thus the light reflected by the optics is much more intense than the light backscattered by the aerosols. The minimum range is 100 meters for a 50 meter long pulse.
